Glickman Wine Cellar 2002 Chicago U.S.A.
This project involved constructing a traditional Italian styled wine cellar
for a client in Chicago, U.S.A.
A strong relationship with the client enabled him to trust that the project
would be delivered within a given timeframe and budget.
In addition to the technical requirement to make a functional wine cellar,
was a desire to create a truly authentic atmosphere.
We worked closely with the client to conceal modern equipment while
accentuating the beauty of the recyled italian terracotta bricks and
traditional architectural forms.
The cellar was designed to house 1000+ bottles of wine, complete with
central wine tasting area.
